Ammonium thiosulfate

Name of the product: Ammonium Thiosulfate.
Chemical name: Ammonium Thiosulfate
Chemical formula: (NH4)2S2O3
Appearance: Colorless slightly alkaline sediment-free solution of ammoniac smell.
Packing: in bulk, or the container required by the customer.

Uses

Photographic industry: It is used in fixer production.
Galvanoplasty: It is used as a brightener.
Farming industry: It is used as a nutrient for the bacterium development in ensilage processes.

Other uses:
It is used as a white metal cleaner.
It is also used as a fertilizer, giving Na + S to the soil. The sulfur works in two ways, as a sulfate ( 50 % of the total sulfur content ) and as basic sulfur the remaining 50%. This gives immediate action and residual power to the fertilizer, as far as sulfur availability is concerned, thus allowing the assimilation of other soil nutrients.
