Name of the Product: Sodium bisulfite.
Chemical name: Sodium Acid Sulfite.
Chemical formula: NaHSO3
Appearance: transparent light yellow to greenish liquid of stinging smell.
Container: in bulk, up to 270 kg drums, up to 1,350 kg containers or the container required by the customer.

Uses

Chemically: It is a sodium bisulfite solution with an average SO2 concentration of 26%.
Water applications: It is used as an oxygen scavenger agent.
Oil industry: It controls corrosion by eliminating the dissolved oxygen in water systems and lines, it is also used in oil’s secondary recovery.
Mining industry: The solution can be catalysed, depending on the demand, in order to accelerate the sequestrating properties. However, it needs to be measured in larger quantities as it is less soluble than the ammonium bisulfites.
Paper industry: It is used in large doses for obtaining cuemical paste and paper.
